What Baptists Believe

Vision/Identity
We have a strong vision to...
...establish CHBC as a major spiritual force in our community.
...expand our church family and welcome new members through outreach.
...strengthen our Church through our Mission Programs.
...minister to all generations through creative and exciting blended services.
...attract families with children and youth through our warm family atmosphere.
...grow members through new member orientation, annual emphasis, and on-going discipleship.
...create unity throughout our church body open communication and a consensus-minded process.

Leadership/Decisionmaking

CHBC was established with strong lay leadership, who have maintained those roles in both committee leadership and in the deacon body. A key factor in the success of the leadership and decision-making process is the coexistence of the pastor’s leadership alongside the established lay leadership.
