As a ministry of Colonial Hills Baptist Church, the employees of the Preschool Development Center look forward to the opportunity of sharing a small part of each child’s life. We strive to give the children excellent care as they experience activities geared toward their growth and development. Each child’s uniqueness physically, emotionally, and academically is considered. It is also our desire to create a second family atmosphere for the child and to instruct and model Christian values and behavior.

What We Offer:
- Classes for toddlers through pre-kindergarten
-The 2008 Fall program for children up to Pre-K.

When We Meet:
School is in session on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. We follow the Cedar Hill ISD schedule for bad weather closings, holidays, and in-service days. Our fall semester is September through December and spring semester is January through May. The summer session is June and July with tuition being determined in the spring.

What We Teach:
We are a member of the Texas Baptist Church Weekday Education Association. We emphasize age-appropriate learning and utilize Wee Learn Curriculum up to 2 years old. Our licensed Pre-school for ages 3 - Pre K uses the A Beka curriculum. All of our employees undergo background checks, and all classes are led by trained and committed Christian teachers.

Registration:
To register call the church office at 972-291-0066. We do limit our size to ensure adequate worker/child ratios, so registering early is a must. A non-refundable registration fee must be paid in order to hold a spot for your child. The registration fee is $50 for babies - 2 yrs and $75 for 3 yrs - Pre K. Note: Activity drop-ins accepted if space available.

Tuition:
2 Days/Wk = $130-140/month

3 Days/Wk = $190-200/month

4 Days/Wk = $240-260/month

Drop-Ins: $25/day

Note: A supply fee is also due in January; $35 babies-2yrs, $50 3yr-Pre-K.

Special Opportunities:
* Stretch-N-Grow: A preschool fitness program with a certified preschool fitness instructor.
* Special Food Days: Food is brought in once a month from Kentucky Fried Chicken or Pizza Inn. Children do not need to bring lunches on these days.
* Library: The church librarian comes in twice a month for story time, and the three and four-year-old classes check out books.
* Chapel: Once a week, children are invited to the sanctuary to spend time with our pastor and children’s pastor.
